Our producer had some fun this afternoon riding with Scott Speed in the Volkswagen GRC Polo. This is in preparation for the Red Bull Global Rallycross this weekend at the Dirtfish Rally School near Seattle. Speed missed one of the turns, but this was just a practice course and it was his first pass. I heard the car was running tarmac tires still (probably from the previous event) so this isn't indicative of how fast the car will be running this weekend.

Man, I had no idea Dirtfish was THAT close to where I used to live. Is that Mount Si back there?
Used to live in Fairwood. Drove back up there this summer. Pooted in my old neighborhood. Left.

Yup, that's big Si. DirtFish is located where the old Wayerhauser lumber mill used to be.
